What We Do
We review web hosting providers — shared, VPS, dedicated, cloud and managed WordPress hosting — and publish deep, hands-on reviews, head-to-head comparisons and verified deal pages. Our goal is simple: help you find the right host for your website and budget, and avoid the ones that look good on paper but disappoint in practice.
How We Test Hosting (Our Methodology)
We do not rate hosts from a spec sheet. Every provider we recommend is tested with our own money, on a real website, over time. Our process:
- We buy the plan ourselves. No free vendor accounts that get special treatment — we pay the same price you would.
- We measure uptime and speed. We monitor uptime with third-party tools and run load tests, recording response times under real traffic.
- We test support. We open real tickets and live chats to see how fast and how well each host actually responds.
- We track the true cost. We record signup price, renewal price and any hidden fees, so you know what you will really pay in year two.
- We re-verify. Every review carries a “last verified” date, and we update pricing and findings as hosts change.
Our Experience
Our editorial team has tested 50+ hosting providers since 2020, across personal blogs, high-traffic affiliate sites and WooCommerce stores. That hands-on history is why our reviews include details you will not find in a press release — real provisioning times, real support transcripts, and real renewal-price math.
Editorial Independence
Our recommendations are based on testing data, not commissions. We earn affiliate income when readers sign up through some of our links, and we are grateful for it — it funds the testing. But it never decides our rankings. We recommend hosts we would (and do) use ourselves, and we are upfront about each provider’s weaknesses as well as its strengths.
